Mission Statement

HUMATTERS is an examination of the nature of our existence as human beings on planet Earth.

The goal of HUMATTERS is to educate us with respect to our body, our brain, our planet, and our universe. With such an education, we may prove to be better human beings and, therefore, we may improve humanity as a whole. HUMATTERS is an intellectual journey that is intended to be taken together.

Things such as art, religion, and politics color our lives and provide us with joy and meaning.  However, HUMATTERS will leave these subjects untouched and strive to present more fundamental information that affects all of us as human beings, without regard for personal ideas and preferences. With this, HUMATTERS will focus on elements that unite us in our existence, rather than those things that make us unique.

Both HUMATTERS and this Mission Statement are works in progress.  This project started long ago with a goal to share information, bring human beings closer together, and, ultimately, to help us live more fulfilling lives.  HUMATTERS will strive every day to fulfill these goals.

Why follow HUMATTERS?  Because the unexamined life is not worth living.
